CCP Summer Arts Workshops

Once again, summer is just around the corner and the CCP announces its annual CCP Summer Arts Workshops. This year we are offering the following theater arts courses:
Events, Production and Stage Management
Lighting Design and Techniques
Sound Design and Techniques
Children's Theater
Teen Theater
Beginning Acting
Musical Theater for Teens

As in the past years, we are also offering directing lectures, conducted by some of the countries' top directors – Tony Mabesa, Bart Guingona., Floy Quintos, Ricky Abad and Ana Valdes Lim.

Among our newest courses in PHILIPPINE THEATER HISTORY – THE TOUR. Learn about Philippine Theater History while going on a tour of the CCP. Conducted by Dennis Marasigan and the Tanghalang Pilipino Actor's Company.

We need your opinion!

We are considering adding one more course to our roster this summer. Mr. Ronald "Ony" Carcamo, Palanca Award Winning poet and co-founder of LIRA, would like to offer courses in Ventriloquism and Puppetry. Aside from his credentials as a poet, Ony is a trainer and a kidshow expert.

Of the courses Ony is offering, which of the two would you prefer?

PUPPETRY AND VENTRILOQUISM
Summer Workshop for Kids
Children will be taught basic puppetry and ventriloquism and encouraged to use these skills as tools to develop their creativity and self esteem.

PUPPET POWER IN EDUCATING KIDS
A fun Seminar for teachers on simple but effective puppetry techniques for classroom use
