A competition to revive the lost arts

Tickets: P150 / P200 on the competition date

Lost Art is a competition to bring back an appreciation for the unhailed performing arts to general society. This contest is open to all amateur performers, male, female or co-ed. Each performer/group should have a maximum of ten (10) performers. Participants must be at least fifteen (15) years old. Performance must not be longer than 5 minutes. Listed below include examples, but not limited to, any routine that participants may execute:

- Musical Skit
- Speech Choir
- Monologue
- Opera singing
- Acrobatics
- Mask dance
- Chancel Choir
- Declamation
- Puppet theater
- Folk/Ethnic Dance
- Tap dance

HOW TO REGISTER
1. Prepare a video and upload it on YouTube.
2. Go to any East West Bank and deposit the total amount of the registration fee of Php500.00 / performer or group (non-refundable) .

4. Once we receive and approve all requirements, we will send you an email confirmation. Please print it as this will serve as your “Registration Receipt”.

ELIMINATION ROUND
Elimination will be done through the videos that you will send. Ten (10) finalists will be chosen and will get the chance to compete on December 5, 2009 at the Cinema 3 SM South Mall, Las Piñas City.

No pornography and vulgarity will be allowed. Deadline for submission of all requirements is on November 20, 2009. We will be posting all video links in our site, eurekaperformingart s.multiply. com, as well as the chosen ten (10) finalists on November 23, 2009.

COMPETITION PROPER
For the final competition on December 5, 2009, the ten (10) finalists would be subject to a panel of judges but the final votes would come from the audience. To be able to vote, make sure that you reserve your seats and buy your tickets now!

PRIZES
The winner will receive Php10,000 in cash plus a trophy and a working contract with Eureka! Performing Arts. This means that the winning performer or group will be part of the cast for our next production scheduled on March 2010!

HOW TO BUY TICKETS
1. Go to any East West Bank and deposit the total amount of the tickets that you want to buy (Php150 each).

3. Once we receive your email, we will send you an email confirmation with your ticket numbers. Please bring the bank receipt on competition day as this will serve as your “Ticket Receipt”.
4. If tickets are not sold out before the competition proper, we will also be selling tickets at the door for Php200.
