Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts' "ARTEKULTURA 2- an inter art genre lecture series and practice presentations" has been moved to August 6 and 7, 2009 8:00 a.m. at the XU Little Theater.This year, topics are 'Proper Costuming Faithful to its Indigenous Sources,' 'Ethnomusicology: Northern Mindanao Ethnic Music Origins,' 'Preservation of Local Cultural Heritage,' and 'Cultural Production and Special Events Preparations and Management.' The pool of resource artists includes A Pauleta 'Nannete' Roa, Dr Steven Patrick Fernandez, Prof Frank Englis, and Prof Christian Aguado.
Registration fees are P150.00 (for professionals) and P 50.00 (for students).
A certificate of partcipation will be given to all the participants. ..
ARTEKULTURA 2 is XCCA's flagship project under CULTURAL EDUCATION Program... It is also supported by Xavier University Central Student Government and XU Cultural Dance Troupe.
