Modern celebrated artist Tito Estrada will be presenting his latest under water - inspired artworks via his solo exhibit.
Encrusted with capiz of varried shapes, and small sea shells splattered across the pictorial fields, Tito's signature works of acrylic and sand on canvas has created arts that represents youthful vigor and exuberance. An artistic spontaneity that is not easy to duplicate and appropriate.
What is relevant and significant with this artistic exploration is the artist's desire to use his creativity as his modest contribution to environmental appreciation and protection.
Self-taught, profuse with enthusiasm and optimism, Tito Estrada aspires to share the bounty of his craft and artistry to elevate and ensconce modern art in the country and across the land.
Part of the proceed of the Capiz exhibit by Tito Estrada will be used to fund The Kahayag Community Cultural Foundation, Inc. Summer Arts Workshop in South Cotabato as the exhibit major beneficiary.
Tito Estrada's Capiz exhibit will be mounted at the The Podium.
"Capiz" runs from April 23, 2007 to April 27, 2007.
