Blue Repertory's All Shook Up Open Auditions Extended!

Announces OPEN auditions for the rockin' Broadway musical!

Set in the summer of 1955, ALL SHOOK UP tells the story of a small-town girl who dreams of hitting the open road until a leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger speeds into her life and leads a square little town into discovering the magic of romance and the power of rock 'n' roll.

Featuring 24 all-time favorite Elvis hits like "Heartbreak Hotel", "Jailhouse Rock", and " Can't Help Falling In Love " woven into a whole new story, ALL SHOOK UP is a surefire hip-bustin' musical feast that will rock the Philippine stage and have rock 'n' roll fanatics of all ages jumping out of their blue suede shoes!

With Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan (Stages of Love, Basted) as director and Chari Arespacochaga (Avenue Q, Doubt) as creative consultant, ALL SHOOK UP will be staged from February 1 - 17 at the AFP Theater .

AUDITIONS will be on:

SATURDAY, October 27, 2007
from 8AM-4:30PM at
SEC C 201 A (also known as SEC Lec 3),
Ateneo de Manila University

Those interested to audition must prepare 2 contrasting musical theater songs (one slow, one fast), and must be ready to dance and sing rock 'n' roll.

Please bring the ff:
1) piano score or minus-one for each song
2) current 2x2 picture
3) dance clothes
4) resume (optional)
