PETA presents Skin Deep

Robert Seña and Isay Alvarez , both recognized for their stellar
performance in Miss Saigon (original West End cast and Manila) are
Narciso and Isadora Dong-Can, a troubled married couple. May Bayot de
Castro (Tanghalang Pilipino's Himala The Musical) is Amor de Sangre,
the reigning Miss Artificial Beauty. Bituin Escalante, pop R&B singer
par excellance, is Marikit Evangelista, the obese call-center agent
who yearns to loose the unwanted fat in order to look sexier.

Get to meet them, along with more of today's most admired theater
performers in Vincent A. de Jesus' Skin-Deep, a 3rd offering of the
Philippine Educational Theater Association for its 40th Theater Season.

Dr. Beau Batoctol (essayed by Melvin Lee, with Rem Zamora as
alternate) welcomes 7 lucky interesting individuals who won a chance
to stay at Skin-Deep Beauty Sanctuary for a month and avail of all the
beauty treatments, procedures and surgeries it has to offer –
ABSOLUTELY FOR FREE - as the resort-spa's grand opening treat. Each
"patient" go through different miracle procedures hoping to become
more aesthetically acceptable to the cruel world outside.

Other featured performers in Skin-Deep are Phil Noble, Al Gatmaitan,
Erik Bisa, Red Anderson, Glecy Atienza, Gail Billones, Mary Ann
Espinosa, Diana Malahay, Onyl Torres, Joseph Grantusa, Delphine
Buencamino, Neomi Tabanao-Gonzales, Joan Bugcat, Eric dela Cruz and
Giu Comia. Nor Domingo directs, with music by Lucien Letaba, arranged
by Melvin Corpin, set design by Leo Abaya, costume design by Kalila
Aguilos, choreography by Christine Crame-Santillan, and lighting
design by Jonjon Villareal.

Skin-Deep goes onstage at the PETA-Phinma Theater beginning February
1, 2008 and will run on all Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until March
9, 2008. For inquiries and ticket reservations, please contact the
