2010 Intensive Filmmaking Workshop

The Mowelfund Film Institute (MFI) in cooperation with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) announces the holding of the 2010 Intensive Filmmaking Workshop on May 12, 2010 to June 3, 2010.

Many of the important young filmmakers who have attended these workshops have attained national as well as international recognition. Their works have been awarded and screened in some of the world's film capitals like Berlin, New York, Tokyo, London, Brussels, Cannes etc.

Courses to be offered will cover basic technical exposure with hands-on exercises in film and video equipment, conceptualization and production methods. Certificates of Participation will be given to participants.

The Mowelfund Board is chaired by Sampaguita Pictures scion Marichu Vera-Perez Maceda, Vice Chairman is National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts, Director Eddie Romero. Trustees include Director Boy Vinarao, composer Josefino Cenizal, actor Rez Cortez, and Boots Anson Roa who is the concurrent Executive Director.
