Docent Training Program

The Museum Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. and the Lopez Memorial Museum would like to invite you to participate in the Docent Training Program to be held at the Lopez Memorial Museum. The program will discuss the different kinds of tours that may be done, general tips on guiding, looking at art and writing a tourscript, among others. There will be two (2) whole day sessions (October 13 and 14, 9am-12noon, 1-4pm) and a half day session where the participants will asked to demonstrate their understanding of the principles and skills learned during the Docent Training Program.

The program will be facilitated by Ms Isabel Kenny. Ms Kenny has served as docent at the Los Angeles Country Museum (LACMA) and has facilitated the said program at the Lopez Museum, the National Museum and the Ayala Museum.
