The UP College of Mass Communication is pleased to announce the publication of Dean Luis V. Teodoro's Vantage Point: The Sixth Estate and Other Discoveries.
Vantage point is a collection of Dean Teodoro's opinion pieces generated from more than a decade of writing for Manila newspapers such as Today, Business Mirror, and Business World. The articles are political commentaries on the use of power by those that wield them, be they individuals or institutions within and out of the government, or even by those beyond the country's shores, colonizers of the past and present.
The book is jointly published by CMC and the UP Press under the Media and Communication Series. The series publishes scholarly books on Philippine communication effects, processes, industries, and products, including works on critical analyses of media industries, journalism studies, new media and society, and cultural and politics in media texts.
