MEDIA and PASTORAL MINISTRY WORKSHOP 2007

This month-long pastoral workshop provides participants hands-on training on the use of media for their ministry. Designed especially for the lay, religious and ordained, it is a Media Production and Media Education workshop rolled into one.

As a media production workshop, it will give the participants numberous opportunities to improve their basic communication and presentation skills, as well as learn how to use different media for pastoral work – e.g. print, video, the internet.

As a media education workshop, the course will allow participants to appreciate the ways in which the church has used media effectively in the past and the major changes that face us today in our work of evangelization.

With well known and technically proficient lecturers and facilitators, this workshop is most useful for those who wish to produce media materials for their particular ministries.
