AHIMSA EXHIBIT

As part of the Flower Festival Celebration, Bliss Café presents the works of Amador Barquilla. The show entitled "AHIMSA" will feature sixteen of Amador Barquilla's current works.
Amador Barquilla is a talented artist who was featured in Mabuhay Magazine selections of artist in its December 2007 Christmas special issue.
Amador Barquilla was inspired by fellow artist and cousin Jerry Morada, one of the founders of Guevarra Group of Artist. Amador Barquilla's currrent series aptly titled "Karerang Sako" 24 x 16 oil on canvas and "Pahiyas Festival" 24 x 16 oil on canvas can form a triptych. Among the paintings Amador Barquilla is presenting in the exhibit are the "Tumbang Preso Series" 24 x 48 oil on canvas, "Balantok" 30 x 48 oil on canvas, "Doktor WakWak" 24 x 16 oil on canvas, "Saranggola" 24 x 12 oil on canvas.
AHIMSA is part of the Panagbenga Flower Festival, the annual festival that occurs every January in Baguio. Bliss Café is located at Munsayac Inn, Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City.
AHIMSA is currently on view at the Bliss Cafe in Baguio City.
