Summer Workshop for Kids @ The Garage

Greetings from the Garage!

Starting April 12, we will be having summer workshops for kids ages 9-15. Animation at Your Fingertips and Komiko! Your Brain on a Strip. These are workshops geared towards youngsters, that will be able relay to them proper foundations on techniques for two of the most visible and relevant mediums of our time. Below are details about the workshop:

Animatronics! animation at your fingertips
This workshop aims to familiarize kids in the basic principles of animation by exposing them in various techniques, enabling them in creating their very own short animation. Recommended for kids age 9-15 years who have the knack for arts and kick for fun!

Facilitator: Bryan Quesada

*REVISED Time: 9am - 4pm
Class fee: P6,600

KomiKo! your brain on a strip
Comics, with its unique way of combining words and pictures to convey messages, has the potential to be one of the most powerful media in today's visually-oriented society. This 10-day workshop follows the comics production process from idea generation to writing and illustration, with the goal of instilling in kids the skills needed to create comics creatively and effectively.

Facilitator: Elbert Or
Class dates: April 12-27 (M-T-TH-F)
Time: 2pm - 5pm
Class fee: P6,600
