UPFI holds Full Run for Inang Yaya

Full Run for INANG YAYA

In the wake of the warm reception by the jam-packed audience for the recent screening of Inang Yaya for the 17th International Women’s Film Festival currently extended, the UP Film Institute is most proud to hold the full run for the acclaimed film.

Sweeping all the honors for the annual awards of the Film Desk of the Young Critics Circle (Best Film of the Year, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Visual Design, Best Editing, Best Sound and Aural Orchestration, Best Performance for Maricel Soriano), Inang Yaya screens as follows: Mar 12 Mon 2/5/7 p.m.; Mar 13 Tue 10 a.m./2 & 7 p.m.; Mar 14 Wed 10 a.m. & 5 p.m.; Mar 15 Thu 2 & 7 p.m.

As Inang Yaya is expected to further figure prominently in the local film award-giving season about to be in full swing, now is the best time to catch the celebrated first film from the directing duo of Pablo Biglang-awa and Veronica Velasco.
