23rd PPO CONCERT SEASON II: “Noble Visions”

Four “visions” of music treat our audiences this concert. Beginning with Hindemith’s tribute to St. Francis we continue on to celebrate the Mozart birth anniversary year with Najib Ismail. From there we move on to the street sounds of the modern tango with three short tangos by Argentinean Piazolla. Noble visions ends with the triumphant sounds from Pines of Rome with brass blaring from opposite balconies.
