Asier Zabaleta has participated as a performing artist in various Spanish dance companies and in 1994 he formed the Swiss company ALIAS, with whom he participated in the creation of 6 works for dance-theater and several world tours.

In the year 2004 Asier Zabaleta formed the company Ertza with the objective of opening a new space wherein different disciplines of art can coincide with contemporary dance and notably enrich the language of theatre.

EGO-tik by Asier Zabaleta is a piece where he explores the most hidden depths within himself. With the use of his image projected on several monitors and encased in a dialogue between a person and reproduction, the Basque author slowly unravels his weaknesses and fears.
