The exhibition explores the concept of faith and image
representation. This strong belief can transpire even in the absence
of a solid representation of an image. This exhibition explores
how collective memory can create and empower an icon.

Using the concept of faith as a metaphor, the series of photographs
asserts the existence of a divine being not by directly
capturing multiple images of the icon that signifies it but by
capturing the people and the narratives that reify the presence of
the higher being.

What is realized during the pilgrimage? What is being anticipated?
