Additional Screening for Haw-Ang @ CCP

Additional Screening for Haw-Ang at the CCP

Cinemalaya's most daring (not to mention controversial) exhibition film holds an additional screening on July 28, Saturday, 10 a.m. at the CCP Silangan Hall. Haw-Ang's much-awaited world premiere is set two days earlier, on July 26, Thursday, 6 p.m. at Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino.

Tickets for the July 26 premiere night can be purchased from Sizzling Gambas Productions office, please call 412-5119, or text 0906-5208085 or 0915-2861928, or e-mail to admin@sizzlinggamba s.com. Meanwhile, tickets for the July 28 additional screening are available at the CCP box office.

The only recent film endorsed by the Department of Education (DepEd)-NCR, Haw-Ang tells the story of Sister Adel—a nun who goes to the isolated village called Malinggop to teach the tribe's children. Amidst the magnificent beauty of the rice terraces, Sister Adel comes to face the biggest test of her faith… and femininity. Haw-Ang is directed by Bong Ramos and stars Kalila Aguilos, Neil Ryan Sese, Fonz Deza, and PBB's Teacher Raquel. The film introduces the exceptional talent of eight-year-old Dacmay Tangliban from the Tuwali tribe in Hapao, Hungduan.

Haw-Ang hits SM theaters on August 8 in these malls: Megamall, Mall of Asia, North Edsa , Fairview , Southmall, Manila , San Lazaro, Centerpoint, Clark , Pampanga, Cebu , and Davao . The film is sponsored by Standard Insurance Co., Inc. and co-presented by UniversiTV.
