The Center for Women's Resources (CWR), a research and training institute for women, would like to invite you to attend "Kababaihan Kontra Karahasan (K Kontra K): Women's Voice Against Human Rights Violations in the Philippines, " a cultural soiree to be held on December 18, 2006, 2 p.m., at the CWR office, 127-B Sct. Fuentebella St., Bgy. Sacred Heart, Quezon City .

In commemoration of International Human Rights Day, the soiree will be an afternoon of cultural performances from human rights advocates/artists, dialogue with victims and survivors of political repression, and forging solidarity with supporters from various sectors.

The soiree aims to gather women's rights advocates from the academe, NGOs, government agencies, LGUs, church, and the media.
