Special Anniversary Screening of Minsa'y Isang Gamu-gamo | Postponement

Please be advised that the special 30th anniversary screening of Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo scheduled on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at the CCP Tanghalang Manuel Conde has been postponed for 2007. This is in response to the call echoed by our Superstar, Ms. Nora Aunor, to support the more urgent need to help our kababayans in Albay. Part of the funds intended for this screening will be donated in behalf of ICON through the relief campaign of the Diocese of Cubao.

We take this opportunity to call on all Noranians to do their share and help the victims of typhoon Reming in the Bicol area. For those based in the USA, Ms. Nora Aunor is holding a fund drive for this purpose soon while Philippine-based members are encouraged to help through their respective parishes or send their donations to our treasurer, Ms. Glorina Tugade.

At this point, we would like to thank Mr. Anastacio P. Diaz Jr., CEO of Premiere Productions, and Ms. Vicky Belarmino of CCP for all the support. Minsa’y Isang Gamu-gamo will be screened next year as part of Forty Carats Superstar, a series of events celebrating the fortieth year anniversary of Ms. Nora Aunor in showbusiness.
