Aims
The International Workshop on Impressionism and Creativity from the Asian Perspective, which is the first of its kind in Asia, aims to realize the historiographic perspective of Impressionism in the international art scene, as it had transcended geographical boundaries since it revolutionized Western Art. Specifically the forum seek to discuss its withstanding popularity and the continuing tradition of this form of painting as a collective means of interaction between the East and the West, considering the aspects of cultural exchange, politics and power relations, the art market and education.

Please use Asia, Europe and Impressionism Participant Registration Form. Fees for early registrants, until 10 November 2006: Php3,500 (local participants) / US$150 (international participants). Fees for late registrants: Php5,000 (local participants) / US$200 (international participants).
