And the Winner Is...
Ballet Philippines can do anything and everything and you can bear witness to it. It's a fact; Ballet Philippines, one of the oldest ballet and contemporary dance company in the Philippines, has the widest dance repertoire in the country today.
Ballet Philippines can do excerpts from internationally-acclaimed classical ballets such as Swan Lake and then turn around to do modern choreographies set to heart-tugging kundimans which never fail to strike a chord in the Filipino heart.
This unique production incorporates the synergy between pop culture and the well-loved classics. Its overall concept depicts a dance competition not unlike the style of traditional classic pieces by using the highlights of the most well-loved classical ballets as competition entries. A panel of actors will bind the entire production together, extending their facetious commentaries, scathing remarks, and outright hysterical extravagancies.
Guest Actors: Floy Quintos, Roeder, Wilma Doesn't, Wowie de Guzman, Julienne Mendoza and Maritina Romulo.
