Cine Europa 2006: Free Lecture/Discussion on European Cinema at Shang Cineplex (November 10)

In line with the conduct of the annual European Film Festival, "Cine
Europa 9, Sineng EU, Sineng Iyo", we wish to invite film students and
interested individuals to participate in a lecture dubbed "European
Cinema: Cultural Specificities" on 10 November, 9 a.m. at Shangri-La
Mall, Cineplex, Cinema 1, Sixth Floor, Mandaluyong City.

Distinguished film director Eddy Terstall from Netherlands and film
producer, Jean-Michel Dissard, will be the resource persons. Filipino
filmmaker, Raymond Red will also be invited to join the panel.

Eleven films from European Union Member States' Embassies in the
Philippines are being brought to showcase the best of European films for
this 9th Cine Europa.

The lecture is part of the E.U.'s ongoing efforts to generate awareness
and understanding about European film culture.

The lecture is free. Interested individuals are requested to get their
passes on 10 November between 8 to 8:45 a.m. at ground floor of the
Shangri-La Mall, near Starbucks entrance.
