Open to all students from Philippine schools between 10 and 16 years of age. Everyone is invited to submit stories about your closest, best friend to the 2007 Reader’s Digest Philippines Pen Awards!

The story could be about an experience shared, the greatest lesson you learned from your friend, a memorable event that sealed your friendship.

Creativity is a must! The story can be funny, moving, offbeat – as long as it is original and has never been published – send it to us and you may be this year ’s winner of the 2007 Reader's Digest Philippines Pen Awards!

Maximum Length: 1000 words
Submission Period: November 1, 2006 to January 31, 2007
Announcement of Winners: March 1, 2007

All contributions must be typed and double-spaced and accompanied by a cover page containing the following information: Name, Age, Address, Telephone Number and Name of School
