New Cinema One Originals Movie PANDANGGO Premieres at SM Megamall Nov 16

PANDANGGO
A Digital Movie Dances Its Way to the Cinema One Originals Digital
Movie Festival

Cinema makes more steps than one when Pandanggo, a trilogy movie
makes its cinematic festival run at the 2nd Annual Cinema One
Originals Digital Movie Festival at the Indie Sine Theater (cinema
8) of Robinsons Galleria from November 24 to 26. Pandanggo will also
hold its separate individual premiere on November 16 (Thursday
night)at the Cinema 1 of SM Megamall at 7:30pm.

Produced by Look Sharp Pictures in cooperation with Gigantor Media,
Pandanggo is a collaborative work spearheaded by Ruelo Lozendo who
conceptualized its story and likewise developed the screenplay with
Wilfred Galila and Dennis Empalmado. The trio eventually directed
each of movie's segment stories and has indeed woven three stories
that transition with close threading or interspersing events.

PANDANGGO has three stories with parallel themes converging in one
event. Sayaw ni Aling Espie of Dennis Empalmado, being the first
segment, casts Marife Necessito, Jason Fortuna and At Maculangan
(Milan). It centers on the fanatics' lives reeling around the
Kasilonawan Festival in Obando. A wife whose wish to conceive a baby
boy to make her husband happy brings her feet to the festival, but
fate has other plan of bringing the child into her life.

Chin Chin Gutierrez, Raymond Bagatsing and Andre Tiangco head the
cast of the second segment entitled It Takes Two to Tanggo of
director Wilfred Allan Galila takes a career woman who learns to
dance tango that likewise serve as another diversion to further
supplement her so-called fulfilled life. When actually, she simply
wants to wear off the seething torment she feels because she is torn
between her dance classmate and live-in partner. Little does she
know what she does is slowly ushering her to difficulty of choosing
the man who can materialize her dream of making and raising a
family.

In the third segment Agogo Macabago of Ruelo Lozendo and casting
Dominique, Roeder and Jake Macapagal, a modern woman who, amidst her
medical condition that might render her childless for the rest of
her life, finds connection with an ancient lore about fertility.

The 2nd Annual Cinema One Originals Festival will hold its awarding
ceremonies on November 26 at 5:00 pm at the Greenhills Teatrino. To
be hosted by Cinema One's numero uno star Piolo Pascual and channel
personality Bianca Gonzalez. For more details call the Creative
